Sad news about the ABJ's Brian Windhorst

Via Henry Abbott at TrueHoop: Brian Windhorst, the Akron Beacon-Journal’s Cavs beat writer, is very sick.

Not only is Brian a terrific writer — he’s easily one of the best beat writers I’ve seen in a lifetime of reading about sports — but he is also a super nice guy, according to people who know him (including Abbott and David Carducci or the Kent Record-Courier), and a Kent State University graduate. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

    Not sure where you got the info on his illness, but he had asked another website to not disclose any info about it. I’m not sure if you got it from the same site or not *I’m guessing you did* But I would ask that you remove the line about according to a post.
